Project DFSI -
Paada Sparsh

Diabetic Foot Society of India – “DFSI” as it is popularly known, is one of the few societies worldwide dedicated to managing the Diabetic Foot. It was founded on 30th March 2002. Since then, DFSI has been at the vanguard of training and sensitizing numerous medical and paramedical personnel through highly structured, innovative and state-of-the-art educational programs across India and overseas.

DFSI has assured its assistance to poor patients undergoing treatment under the Paada Sparsh project, allocating funds to the tune of 2 lakhs per year.

Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Rotary club of Parassala in collaboration with Saraswathy Hospital Parassala, is committed to assisting impoverished Diabetic Patients in the Districts of Thiruvananthapuram and Kanyakumari, India through the benevolent project “Paada Sparsh” bearing the slogan “Save Limbs, Save Lives”
